So many uncertainties and new things to worry about each day. It’s easy to “have faith” when everything is going well. It’s harder when things aren’t going so well. But that is where true faith is developed, and that is the level of faith we must practice if we are to be steady and influential in our work. Your friends, family, employees, and co-workers are looking for stability. Your unwavering faith in God can give them that.

When we enter uncertain times, times of intense struggle — even times when we don’t know if we will make it — we have to have rock-solid confidence in God’s character and promises so that we can make decisions and take action in faith.  Read the following scriptures:

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Ephesians 2:8. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not for yourselves it is the gift of God.

Isaiah 41-10. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

Reach out to God in prayer.  Ask for comfort and faith in Him for any struggles you have during these times of uncertainty. Please let any of the shepherds know if you are in need, and if there is anything we can do.

Blessings,
Patrick
